Welcome to Pressed for Details! I’m Emily, the founder and lead designer.

By day, you can find me in the classroom, guiding students, grading papers, and fostering a love for learning. But once the final bell rings, I trade my lesson plans for a sketchbook and a digital canvas to pursue my other great passion: creating unapologetically fun and bold clothing.

Why I Started Pressed for Details

Teaching is incredibly rewarding, but it also demands a lot of structure. Pressed for Details was born out of my need for an unfiltered creative outlet—a space where I could let my imagination run wild without rubrics or rules.

I’ve always believed that what we wear should be a direct extension of our personality. I started designing t-shirts because I wanted to create wearable art that is loud, joyful, and guaranteed to spark a conversation.
